Vell Mari Hotel & Resort

It was a real pleasure to stay in this hotel for more than two weeks. I gave the room 4 stars because the mattresses and pillows were uncomfortable for me. We stayed with a three-year-old child who was also delighted with his stay. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The children's show in the evenings is also very popular, and the atmosphere in the hotel is pleasant, given the small size of the buildings. We would love to come again

We stayed at the hotel from Tuesday, 29 July 2025 to Sunday, 10 August 2025 in a Family Room with Garden View. First of all, we would like to compliment the wonderful animation team. Every evening they gathered children for a cheerful mini disco. Yes, the playlist was the same 5–6 songs each night, but the kids absolutely loved it and were completely enchanted. Secondly, we truly enjoyed the evening entertainment. The shows were varied and engaging, and during our 12-night stay we never saw the same performance twice. Both we and our children were delighted with this lively program. The food situation was a bit mixed. Some days there was a rich and appetising selection, while on other days the choice was more basic. Still, none of us ever went hungry, and it was always possible to enjoy a refreshing cocktail at the bar. One thing that surprised us was that the safe in the room is a paid service, which we had not expected. The hotel is currently undergoing renovation. We hope that next time we will get an updated room. Overall, considering the price we paid during peak season for a 4-star all-inclusive hotel, we feel that our holiday was enjoyable and successful.

Pros: - Very competitive all-inclusive prices. - Nice and well-maintained outdoor panorama. - Clean and warm swimming pool. - Calm and quiet atmosphere. - Pleasant and helpful staff. - Free parking nearby. - Plenty of available sunbeds at all time. Cons: - Practise OVERBOOKING. Despite specifically booking a renovated room months in advance, we were given a non-renovated room at our arrival because there was no renovated one available, which we had to fight reception about to the point of having to threaten them of legal pursuits to finally be moved to the renovated room we had paid for... - Atrocious food. See more details in the food and drinks section. - Few organised activities. - Location is average, nearest beach is 25min walking away.
