Fantastic location in the quieter bit of old town Chania. Only 3 minutes walk to the harbour to be in the middle of all the bars and restaurants, and 10 minute walk to the beach. Period property renovated tasteful with a lovely balcony to watch the world go by on an evening.
Very nice room, with a balcony. Even if it is situated in the historical center, it is a quite room. 300m away from the free public parking. Nice host, very helpful with everything. Breakfast was very good with a lot of food, across the street. Difficult to go upstairs for a person with disabilities. Overall there were 5 awesome nights.
We had booked a room with 1 double bed and 2 sofa beds. There was only 1 sofa bed but there was a trundle bed that could have been made up. We asked if this could be put right and although the owner reluctantly agreed it was a Booking.com problem started ranting at us and then literally threw us out into the street, shouting abuse at us. With this sort of attitude and an array of better accommodation in Chania I would steer clear. Incidentally the rooms are small, airless and have no storage for clothes and i would question if it had won the accolades it says it has.
