Venice Krabi Villa Resort

Location: Situated 15 minutes from Ao Nang it's close enough to get to anything you'd like to do, while being away from the hustle in town. Staff: The staff are extremely friendly, attentive and have an excellent eye for detail. Room: We got the jacuzzi room, which I would highly recommend (we used it every day). The private dock was an excellent place to spend the evening. The bed was enormous and very comfortable. Activity & Grounds: Absolutely stunning. We kayaked around the water ways which is included. I have personally fallen into the river and can confirm that it is sea water. The Gondola lunch was lovely and the pool is an extremely nice place to spend time. Food: Unreal. Good selection at breakfast, well prepared, delicious food. The restaurant and café were very good, the food tasted fresh and authentic. Gym: Well equipped small gym, never had an issue getting on equipment (mostly because I didn't use it, however we walked past it every day and is was very quiet 😁). I'd highly recommend staying here. We absolutely loved it. Can't recommend highly enough.

This is a really special hotel. Immersed in the mangroves, with beautifully designed wooden villas it feels like true Thai luxury at an affordable price. I worried initially because it wasn’t near the beach but this didn’t matter at all. The pool is great and it’s great to be among all the wildlife of the mangroves. Would definitely recommend Venice Villas

The rooms were stunning and exactly as advertised when booking. It was very clean and well prepared and even a basket of fresh fruits was included as a welcome. The golf cart driver taking back and forth around the restaurant was the only polite staff member who genuinely seemed to care about taking care of guests. We had breakfast here and the food was average. Some food items seemed not to be too fresh. The staff at the restaurant barely take away plates or do anything. But the whole breakfast area is beautiful with both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was extremely rude when we asked for a plate and some cutlery to be available at our room. Even when we asked for extra bath salts they refused to provide any. However, there is a daily room make-up service since we stayed for 2 days. Despite being a resort, they did not have irons to be provided as well. This was quite odd as almost all destinations we have travelled in other countries do have irons available on demand but none of the places in Thailand didn't seem to have any. The pool is large and clean but the whole layout has a very depressing look rather than a relaxing feeling. This is despite having the most number of jacuzzi jets available in the pool. It is not right next to any major beaches and requires either a taxi or their shuttle which has very limited runs (max 2 times to Aonang and once per day to Railey). There are very limited food options in the small city area nearby. Overall it wasn't such a great experience being here.
