A belated but heartfelt review of an unforgettable stay at Ventozelo. Breathtaking landscapes, exceptional wines, and a thoughtfully curated offer of guided tours and tastings as well as a refined cuisine make this estate truly special. The estate architecture is beautiful, the food authentic and satisfying, and the team radiates genuine warmth and professionalism. A rare harmony of nature, comfort, and soul. We left inspired – and eager to return one day soon.
We had a WONDERFUL stay in Quinta Ventozelo. It is a stunning place. We loved jogging around the vineyards and ending with a dip in the Douro river. The staff is top notch, super friendly and helpful. Tania in the front desk, in the restaurant Marco, the guy from the pool bar, the lady from the boutique. Thanks for making our stay unforgettable. It is a perfect place for a couples retreat.
This stay was the highlight of our entire trip to Portugal. The property is breath taking- with views of the mountains, vineyards, and river. One of our favorite places we’ve ever stayed- everything was beautiful, the rooms are impeccably styled, service was great, and the food was amazing. The farm to table experience at the restaurant was another highlight, as well as the great selection of local wine. Marcos, the sommelier at the restaurant, was amazing! Very knowledgeable and made our dinner so enjoyable. We already can’t wait to return! Truly an experience that stands apart from the rest- and one of the most stunning properties I’ve stayed at. We can’t recommend enough!
