Vercelli Palace Hotel

Nice clean, modern and comfortable rooms. Wify also was fast and good for my office work. We had a little issue with air con water leaks on one room but we were moved to a better room on the same day. We had a nice view of the fields but is a pity that the Windows are a little high so I can not see the landscape while working on the room desk. We had even a nice office chair in the second room. You have many options in the breakfast but don't expect cooked options like sausages, scramble eggs, beacon or beans. Price was excellent. We stayed over the weekend for 3 nights for about £150 including breakfast. I am a returning costumer and surely come back.

Kind employees but they don't really speak English. Good size bedroom, but mattress not good at all (you feel the springs). Overall cleanliness ok but all the silicon joints in the shower must be replaced, they are all mouldy. Breakfast and price in general are ok. The hotel has its own restaurant, but the card didn't look very interesting this is why I decided to take my car to find a real Italian restaurant.

If you’re expecting a 4* hotel you’re going to be disappointed. 3* is a stretch. Lack of any warm welcome on reception (barely any eye contact), cold rooms with no means of changing the temperature, thin sheets, taps that make no sense, showers that leak, cold weak coffee, plastic cups at breakfast despite trying to be ‘sustainable’ through the hotel. Full credit to the friendly restaurant staff otherwise I’d stay elsewhere if I were you. Real shame from what could be a nice hotel otherwise.
