Verdi Budapest Aquincum

We were very happy during our stay in this hotel. The staff was absolutely amazing, kind, polite, and sweet. River Bar with the best drinks and service during our whole stay. The spa is wonderful, with two pools, jacuzzi, sauna, and a gym that my boyfriend enjoyed very much as I did with the Aphrodite Bar. We will be back for sure.

We booked this hotel because of its amazing location only one stop away from the Sziget festival, so location wise this was the best hotel to stay in. The hotel was a bit older but that didn’t mean any lack of quality, it was nicely maintained. The room was spacious too, although one thing that could have been done better, was the bathroom which wasn’t prepared enough. The bathtub was a bit dirty and the shower gel bottle was empty, (even after couple of visits from the cleaning staff). There was a nice breakfast served, usually what you get in a hotel, nothing special. The staff were very nice, friendly and helpful too! Recommended if you’re visiting sziget or you just want a city break in Budapest!

The rooms were a little outdated, especially for folks with dust allergy since there were rugs. However all of the other rooms (halls, dining area) were pretty nice. The spa is top, can't recommend enough. The gym was a little under equiped but you can get a solid workout there anyways. Great service, be it from the breakfast staff, housekeeping or receptionists!
