Vered Hagalil Holiday Village Hotel

It is not easy to find a vacation for a 5-person family. Sometimes, you must have 2 rooms, and in other cases, it is just becoming too expensive. It was our first vacation to the north since October 7th, and it reminded us how we loved it.

We stayed at a lovely hut with a spectacular view of the sea of Galilee seen from all windows and the lovely secluded terrace. The place was in good shape, nicely decorated and clean. We received all needed instructions and a lot of very helpful tips about attractions in the area on our way to the holiday village by WhatsApp texts. The place is well maintained. Buffet breakfast is served at the restaurant 8-10 am - was okay. We loved the place and will certainly come back.

We arrived for one night to relax, we even wanted to pay for early check it. Arriving in the room/lodge which are basic standard, they decided that this was the time to change the lightening in the trees all around our lodge (the place was 3/4 empty but it had to be in front of our room), with a little truck running the whole time and piping noise when it backed in reverse. We could not rest, sleep or even talk due to the noise. So we went to the pool. We were alone there, it was great. Coming back to the room around 17:00, they decide to do handy work in the lodge next to us and we heard loud drilling. When we wanted to take a shower, they turned off our water! We had to call 3 times to get the water back on. The drilling continued... We also found out that new mattresses are stored in the horse stalls, I am not sure if that is the right place. The management canceled our early check in deposit and gave us a 15% discount, but we never received the relaxing get away we were aiming for.
