Vergina Beach Resort

Absolutely stunning boutique hotel that is perfect for a family or couple's beach vacation in Crete. This is right in the middle and close to everything in Agia Marina, but still feels very private and quiet. Walking distance to so many great restaurants and shops and excellent beachfront amenities and private parking on site. The rooms are clean and modern with impeccable decor and comfortable bedding. We booked the Sea front Suite with Sea Facing views for my husband and myself (pictures attached) and the Three Room Apartment for our 4 teen/young adult kids. The Sea Front Suite was very spacious and had an amazing view of the sea and the three room apartment was perfect for our kids- had so much space with enough room for 3 boys to spread out and have their own bathroom and for our daughter to have her own room and en suite. They also have larger units that we could have all stayed in together. The showers are amazing with hot water and great water pressure and the rooms stay nice and cool. My only complaint about the rooms is that the lighting could be better, especially in the bathroom of the sea front suite (the shower area was very dark) and the common area of the 3 room apartment could have used some overhead lighting or extra lamps. Otherwise, this was a perfect stay! The breakfasts are amazing and plentiful and the service is perfection! The same crew that services breakfast also offer beach service while using the sun beds. They are so friendly and hospitable and are very hardworking. The staff at the front desk are so helpful and gave us many recommendations for dining and activities upon check in. Overall, it was the perfect stay for us and we would definitely choose Vergina Beach again!

I can't say enough good things about Vergina Beach Hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The beachfront location is simply unbeatable – you’re just steps from the sea, and they even provide beach towels, which made relaxing by the water effortless. What truly sets this place apart is the incredible staff. Every single person we encountered – from the friendly front desk team, the attentive bar and beach waiters, to the warm and welcoming breakfast staff – went above and beyond. Their kindness and genuine hospitality made us feel at home in the best way possible. Words honestly can’t describe how amazing they all were. The food was absolutely delicious, with generous breakfast portions that kept us full and happy. And the coffee – so yummy! It was the perfect start to each morning by the beach. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. I couldn’t have asked for anything more – it was the perfect place to unwind after a day in the sun. Another huge plus is the location – there are tons of great restaurants within walking distance, so it was easy to explore the local food scene without needing to drive anywhere. If you’re looking for a relaxing, beautiful stay in Crete with top-notch service, amazing food, and a dream beachfront setting, I highly recommend Vergina Beach Hotel. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We stayed at this hotel in Crete for our honeymoon and had the most amazing experience! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, the view is absolutely stunning, and the hotel itself is beautiful and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special — everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. They upgraded our room for our honeymoon and surprised us with a lovely present, delicious local treats, romantic decorations, and even gave us a special fare. It truly made us feel welcomed and celebrated. Breakfast is à la carte and can be included in the fare. Everything we tried was delicious and beautifully presented. On our last day, we had to check out early (at 6:30 AM), and they thoughtfully left us a breakfast in our fridge — complete with a fantastic sandwich, fruit, croissants, travel waters, coffee, and tea. Such a kind and personal touch! There’s also a parking area attached to the hotel, which was very convenient for us. If I could give them 20 stars, I would! I’d recommend this place a hundred times over. It’s the perfect spot for a romantic getaway or just to enjoy Crete in the best possible way. Thank you for everything!
