Friendly and helpful staff greeted us as we entered the hotel. The rooms were spacious with beautiful views, especially of the mountains. Special extras in the room showed that everyone cared about your stay. The soaking tub and excellent shower combination made the bathroom a spa treatment. The modern lightning, tinting of windows, and cooling system you could adjust with the TV control made it a fun experience. A must-see is going up a modern curved stairway in the foyer to a gender free visitor bathroom that was amazing. Finally, Derek, a very friendly shuttle driver, drove us to the airport in a very clean and modern SUV. We will come back.
I travel to Vancouver once a year when I meet a group of friends for a fishing trip about an hour north of here. Because of that, I typically only stay one night in Vancouver. This hotel might give me a reason to come back and spend more time exploring the city. The staff at the front desk was beyond friendly. The rooms feel like home, and they have thought of every comfort to make you feel welcome during your stay. I don't think I'll ever look at any other places to stay, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an upscale experience with the look, feel and hospitality.
i'm rating this a 3/5 We stayed one night before an early flight out of Vancouver, so didn't use the amenities. The room was clean, comfortable, and stylish. Check in staff was nice. Free airport shuttle. However, the door to the bathroom was clear glass with full view of the toilet and open shower, affording zero privacy. We were a couple traveling, but I still would prefer more privacy than what was afforded. The shower took over 10 minutes to heat up (I eventually just took a lukewarm shower) and when I mentioned it, I was instructed to run the tap first on hot to help (this was told to me on check out). Also the room lighting unnecessarily hi-tech: to turn on the lights you press "work" or "relax" to get the desired lighting level, rather that just turning on the lights you wanted. I vibe was cool but wouldn't stay there again based on the above.
