The rooms are very large in size which is great! The non smoking rooms smell so bad of smoke. I could barley stand it. After a day outside you really want to get inside your room and escape the smoking everywhere. I could barley get to sleep with the smell of cigarettes. Terrible! My nose started to burn after a day. At about 10pm every night there was large banging coming from the bathroom for about half an hour. They barely speak English. The air condition is constantly turned off. When I first got there it was so hot they said the air conditioning wasn’t working in the hotel and I refused to stay in the room and the miraculously fixed the air condition. The rooms are cleaned daily but my cups still had fragments of my tea from the day before. It’s like they get rinsed in the sink. The location is amazing if your here for the textile markets. Your basically inside one of the fabric markets. It’s about a 15 min walk to the other fabric market and you pass all these other buildings. If you need help getting to the airport your on your own they won’t help book a taxi for you or help with your luggage
The hotel has a pool but they don’t open it even when it’s boiling hot and not raining!! We asked at reception and they said it would open at 4pm so we waited for 1.5 hours as we had only booked the hotel because of the pool (for my son) and then they told us it wasn’t going to open at all!!! The position is terrible, there is nothing nearby except a lot of road works, and fabric shop and absolutely nowhere to eat! No one speaks any English so it’s a bit of a joke that they call themselves International!! The breakfast was very limited for Westerners/Europeans. The only good thing is the size of the room but it wasn’t that clean and stank of smoke even though we got a non smoking room. Really a disappointing experience after wonderful hotels in Shanghai/Hangzhou/Suzhou and Guilin!!!
No international experience. Non smoking room smells of cigarettes a lot. No one speaks English at all. No WiFi access on the rooms without Chinese phone number, only in the reception hall.
