We came here from Dec 13th to 16th. As other reviewers say you need a car, but it is a perfect location to explore the surrounding areas. Raphael and ALL the staff at the apartments and at breakfast were AMAZING. My wife fell down and injured her knee and they quickly relocated us to the ground floor. Nothing was too much trouble. We had an amazing stay and when the airlines let us book up to end of December we will certainly come back. There are lots of places to eat within a few miles and the food is great and cheap! Back to our stay, total professionalism and the focus is on customer satisfaction. We met wonderful people, the food was amazing, there was so much at breakfast. As we had an early departure they provided breakfast for the morning and it was the last thing they did before finishing for the night. I would recommend this place during the quiet time because during their busy period you won't get a room. This speaks for itself. Thank you for an unforgettable time?
We stayed at their accomodation in the vineyards and loved it, very nice view and peaceful location, perfect to stay away from the chaos and noise of the city
I have been traveling all the world, but never I have met someone less serviceminded and disrespectful than the receptionist at this place. In a review at booking.com I simply said that the receptionist was not friendly and didn’t make us feel welcome (I gave them 5 out of 10) which results in a totally disrespectful answer with some false accusations - which is the same answer as here. Yes we had problems renting a car and arrive to the place, but at the end - we where lucky to find a friendly Swedish couple that gave us a lift. They also reacted on the rude way the receptionist spoke to us. Of course we didn’t pretend we had problems with the car, just hoping the hotel would transport us for free - like he says here. I find it really strange that someone working in service dare to accuse guests for something like that. He says that our visit to the swimming pool «was the cherry on the cake» which again is totally inappropriate and rather absurd. The reason we came just a bit before closing time to the swimming pool is that he showed us a «shortcut» from where we stayed through the wineyard that was not marked at all and we got lost. Is that responsible? And what is the problem, we just stayed a bit by the swimming pool (we would never dare to go into the water) with other guests 15 minutes after closing time. The accusations of complication all the operations is also not true, because really he didn’t do anything to help us. Also that we where nervous, and the last of them almost make me laugh, something about my partner screaming too me which was really not the case. Luckily this is the only time I had such a bad experience after been travelling all the world both for work and pleasure.
