Checked in this afternoon. €50 refundable deposit and €10 non refundable tax. Safe in room also chargeable Definitely not 4 star. No tea or coffee making facilties which is generally standard. No complimentary water only a minibar of which everything was very expensive. They, advertise pool and spa but if you want a swim it's €10 each per day and that doesn't include the spa area. Asked for iron but they do not supply you have to pay €2.50 euro per item and they will do it Disappointed- try to make money out of you with everything
Stay away from it. We stayed at Eurostars in Tirana, which is marketed as a 4-star hotel, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations in several areas. I wouldn’t give it even 1 star Upon arrival, we noticed that one of the room’s drapes was missing, leaving us with no privacy. We reported this issue to the front desk on day one, but no action was taken during our stay. The in-room telephone was not working, making it impossible to call room service even for basic needs like replenishing toilet paper. The shower was another disappointment: the rain shower head was broken, causing water to gush down like a waterline, while the handheld shower felt like a high-pressure car wash. The shower floor was quite slippery — ironically, the wall tiles are non-slip and seem better suited for the floor. There was also no shelf to place toiletries inside the shower. The bed setup was odd, with two mattresses pushed together, making it uncomfortable to sleep in the center. Instead of a proper comforter, we were provided with one large bedsheet and two twin comforters. The bathroom’s bidet faucet didn’t function properly, resulting in constant water running sounds throughout the night. The lighting above the bathroom mirror was poor, making it difficult to apply makeup. On the positive side: the staff were friendly, and the complimentary breakfast was convenient, though some items (like the potatoes) tasted like they were pre-cooked the day before. Towels were replaced daily, and toiletries were consistently restocked. The gym and spa were unfortunately under remodeling during our stay
The hotel absolutely does not deserve 4 stars — I wouldn’t even give it 2. Everything was dirty, including cockroaches in the sauna. The hotel is generally unclean and poorly maintained. The curtains don’t even match the size of the windows, so the sun hits you directly in the morning. I’ve been traveling for over 15 years, but it’s the first time I’ve encountered a hotel that charges €10 for a lost key. At breakfast, they even serve tea in plastic cups — 🤣 where have you ever seen that in a so-called 4-star hotel? The staff were rude and responded to requests as if they were doing you a favor. Overall, I had a terrible impression of this hotel. The only two positives were: • the cleanliness of the rooms (thanks to the kind housekeeping staff), and • the air conditioning, which worked well.
