Vibe Hotel North Sydney

3 stars for inconsistent service level. The room was nice and the location convenient, and the daytime staff were welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately, the night shift was a completely different story, unresponsive, dismissive, and unwilling to handle a standard guest request (nicely asked for some linen for the extra sofa bed; tried to call and had to go at the reception at 10pm as nothing was done). Got a heavily stained quilt delivered at 15pm with no linen, no apologies etc.). I followed up with an email, but never received a reply from management. A disappointing lack of consistency and care.

Stayed here last month and arrived at night. Lady receptionist was looking very serious and not welcoming at all, dismissive and can't even smile. Requested before hand for a sofa bed but it wasn't made when we got in the room. Thank goodness the AM receptionist was nice.

The bathroom had a strong mold odour, the floor hadn't been mopped (visible footprints) and there was something back growing in the gaps of the grating in the shower. The kettle had water inside and when I rinses it in the sink a brown chunk of something came out. Previous time I stayed here there were no issues so perhaps just a dirty room. Unfortunately they were fully booked out so I couldn't move rooms.
