From start to finish, everything was on point. The food is commercial but reliable—you can’t go wrong, and the steak at the restaurant was surprisingly good. The buffet was also a highlight: super nice, plenty of options, really filling, and there’s even a chef prepping fresh food on the spot. The room is beautifully done, with high-end furniture and quality materials in every detail. The surrounding forest and trails are perfect for walks—you can wander and disconnect completely, and it feels totally safe. We visited at the end of July, and it was ideal: quiet, not crowded, and super peaceful. The spa was a perfect bonus for a relaxing break.
The hotel’s location, food, cleanliness, and comfort were all perfect. But above all, there was an incredible sense of service and a sincere, warm-hearted team. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Ms. Marija. She took care of everything for us, making us feel completely at home. We went as a group of 33 people and were extremely satisfied. We did not experience a single negative issue.
I stayed at the Viceroy for a week, and my first impression wasn’t great. The biggest issues were the lack of parking and the language barrier—English is quite a challenge in Serbia. I struggled to find public parking since the hotel’s parking is extremely expensive at €25 per day, even though I paid €2500 for the room. Another disappointment was the extra bed request—they wanted to charge €50 per day, which is the first time I’ve encountered such a policy at a 5-star hotel. And to make things worse, they charge an additional €12 per day just to store ski equipment! Seriously, guys, wake up—you’re a 5-star hotel. It’s ridiculous to have these extra charges after paying €2500 for a room. On the positive side, the breakfast and dinner were good, with quality food, although it was sometimes difficult to find a table. The spa was nice, but the jacuzzi was partially broken. The staff was friendly, and the location is stunning. However, sleep quality was poor due to the extremely dry air in the rooms. Overall, Serbia is amazing, and we’ll definitely return—but not to this hotel.
