Viceroy Santa Monica

We stayed in an ocean view room , the size was comfortable, very clean, and the service was excellent. As a nice bonus, the hotel offers a complimentary credit that you can use on coffee or snacks. There was live music by the pool, which added a great vibe. Although the pool itself isn’t large, there were plenty of lounge chairs and canopies available. They also provide unlimited complimentary bottled water, which was a thoughtful touch. The hotel is within walking distance of the beach and all the main attractions — very convenient location! They charge $60 per night for car which is a good deal for the area

We stayed at Viceroy during the memorial weekend, I had lower expectations after some reviews but it was nothing short of amazing! the location and the proximity to beach is unbeatable, staff are very friendly! Rooms were clean, quiet, there was an issue with the elevator during our first day stay but it was quickly resolved, and the valet made it so much easier for us to get in and out of the hotel. The restaurant Sugar Palm was also very convenient for breakfast and the food was fresh & delicious! Restaurant staff were also very friendly and welcoming. The resort area was neat and had cabanas to hang out which is nice. Would definitely stay again.

I’m giving this hotel five stars based solely on the outstanding customer service from the front desk manager, Shaunique Gaines. This is what excellent service looks like. She listened, she delivered, and she made sure I was happy. Honestly, I don’t even care about anything else in the hotel—she made our day!
