This hotel is faultless. Large rooms which are clean with modern amenities. Comfortable beds. The restaurant is lovely, the food is good quality and the choice is amazing for breakfast & evening meals. Great location overlooking the bay. Free parking which was a bonus. The staff are all friendly and approachable. Would highly recommend this hotel
Stay at the Vic for 2 night's 20-22 July. My wife and myself stayed in the cosy room in the captains quarters. Small room but more than adequate for a couple of nights. We had a lovely stay in the hotel. The hotel has had a lovely refurbishment since the last visit. Amazing breakfast with fabulous sea views from the restaurant. The hotel is a perfect location for walking sections of the coastal Cleveland Way. Highly recommended 5*, well done to all the team at the hotel.
My wife and I stayed here after hiking the coast to coast. The room was excellent. Very clean, but kind of on the smaller side. The shower was really small. Being 6'3" tall and 230lbs was a bit tight for me. The issue we had was with dinner. Service was fine until we were finished. We sat there for half an hour even after we asked for the bill. It might not have been so bad if we had not just finished hiking across the country with 30lbs on our backs and wanted to get to sleep.
