They are at the peak of Austrian hospitality! Really friendly and chill atmosphere among the staff. After 10 days of bikepacking, they helped us with all our needs in a very creative and relaxed way. Also the swimming pool is extremely clean, and the sauna region even had an ice cold waterfall shower. For feeling at home in a foreign country, this is the perfect stay! Metro closeby!

The hotel standard does not deserve 4 stars. Breakfasts were very average, and the only tasty thing was fresh bread. The SPA offer was very limited. The swimming pool was closed out of season, only one of the 4 available saunas was working, and the tennis courts were paid 25€ + 5 each person for by hotel clients as well as for people from outside. The room equipment lacked SPA items. I received only one large towel and one small one, which were necessary in the bathroom. There was no additional towel for the sauna, bathrobe and flip-flops. For the three days of my stay, I received one small cookie. The equipment in the gym was sufficient for a casual workout, but for me, the weights were insufficient. The rooms were cleaned every day and were very clean, but unfortunately the hotel employees shouted at the cleaning lady, who was the only one who smiled at us in this hotel and did a great job. We had the impression that there was a huge mobbing against the cleaning ladies.

This hotel might be okay in the summer months but we visited in April which meant NO air-conditioning at all, our first room was sitting at nearly 30C at night and the the hotel refuses to enable the Air Conditioning until 'the summer'. Luckily they changed us to a lower floor but still no aircon and the room barely got into the mid 20s at night. Couldn't use the windows as it's hayfever season. Their website advertises the pool is open from April - no, it's open from May (this is in the small print on booking though) Yes they have a sauna etc BUT it's only open from 15:00 so if, like me, you want to gym and spa in the morning then this is NOT the hotel for you. Such a shame, if they weren't so penny pinching about the AirCon and Sauna times this would be a great location at an okay price. As it is, they are, and we found it impossible to get a good night's sleep at these temperatures - unless you can survive the noise and pollen of having windows open. I will say that the floor staff are great, they're just restricted by the hotel's policies
