Viet Lotus Saigon Hotel

When I checked in, the air conditioning in my room wasn’t working after turning it on for 45 minutes. I let the staff know, and to their credit, they quickly moved me to another room. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room was clean, which was my main priority, and I really appreciated the lovely view of the city from my window. That said, there were some maintenance issues — a few light fixtures weren’t working properly, the drain was slow, and some parts of the room were starting to fall apart. Breakfast was okay, but once some items ran out, they weren’t refilled, which was a bit disappointing. Despite these issues, I had a good experience overall. The clean room and beautiful city view made it a comfortable stay.

3-Star Review for SenViet Hotel I recently stayed at SenViet Hotel, and while there were some positive aspects, my overall experience left me with mixed feelings. The hotel has a modern and stylish exterior, with a nice stone wall and greenery that give it a welcoming vibe. The staff were friendly and professional, which I appreciated after a long day. However, there are a few areas that really need attention. The hotel feels like it’s in desperate need of an upgrade—some of the decor and furnishings look dated, and the overall ambiance could use a refresh to match the exterior’s promise. What really impacted my stay, though, was the ongoing renovation work. I had a late night out and was looking forward to a good rest, but the noise from the construction started early in the morning and completely disturbed my sleep. It was frustrating, to say the least, and I wish there had been a heads-up about the renovations before I booked. Overall, SenViet Hotel has potential, but the outdated facilities and disruptive renovation work made my stay less enjoyable. I’d give it 3 stars, but I hope they can address these issues soon to improve the guest experience.

Convenient to where I needed to be while in District 3. Due to murderous traffic in HCMC, I chose to stay within walking distance of my destination, leaving few choices for lodging. Best thing about "Sen Viet/Lotus" was the substantial buffet breakfast. Rooms aren't large and are pretty spartan. Bed might've been a made-up box spring, rather than an actual mattress. Don't need to go back - and won't!
