I travelled down from London to meet a friend and stayed here for a night, it was a really pleasant experience. The hotel has some really nice views and is located near the beach. I booked a small Cozy room and liked the small touches like free bottles of water in the room the bathroom and furnishing was really nice. The one issue I had was the AC while it was on the max and at the lowest temperature it was really low. I did speak to the chap at reception who took a look and got me a fan to help with the heat. I didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food but would be open to try it when I next visit and I would recommend this hotel.
A nice seafront location with parking nearby. Friendly staff and whilst we didn't eat the bar prices were good and clearly popular with the locals. Our room was the smallest on the hotel however was perfectly adequate with a modern shower ensuite and very comfortable bed.
My family and I stayed over the weekend for a wedding, we had a large number of rooms booked. The few days before arriving we found it very hard to book the early check in, and the morning of check in it became available. The suite we used with the bride to get married was as hot as an oven, even with it raining heavily the room and corridors were hot. Thankfully our bedroom was the floor above and had AC but really it wasn’t very cold and we couldn’t change any of the settings. The bed was comfy, the shower worked fine, and the bathroom was clean and we even had a tv! The rooms are a little bit noisy, and the seagulls sit on your windowsill and scream at funny hours. The breakfast was brilliant, and most importantly the staff were lovely. We arrived at 11am and everyone was bright and friendly, and again at 1am when we arrived back the night manager was so friendly and helped us all inside. He told us some very Interesting things about the area before we went off to bed. This morning when needing help the staff on every floor said good morning as we went down the stairs. I couldn’t fault them at all! If you are a colder person the warmth will not bother you at all, it’s just something to note if you aren’t. Parking was quite easy, and although we didn’t drink in the bar it was very nice looking and the windows downstairs looking over the sea was amazing!
