We chose View Sydney for our accomodation when we came from the Sunshine Coast to see ‘Carmen’ at the Opera House. It was our wedding anniversary gift to ourselves. We had a great room with the most fabulous view of the Harbour, the Bridge and Luna Park! Great location with the train a short walk up the street. Staff were extremely friendly and we enjoyed a welcoming bottle of champagne and chocolates. Thank you for making our stay so memorable :)
We stayed there to celebrate my son's 7 birthday. The location is great for Luna Park and the view is stunning, while the windows are a bit dirty but I guess with the road construction onsite it's hard to keep them sparkling clean. The burger and sandwich for room service were good. We even saw sunrise the next morning. Staff were very friendly and helpful, overall service was great. We had a great time. The bathroom is a little small but the Dyson hairdryer was the luxury for the stay.
There is plenty about this hotel that is good, the rooms are reasonable size and clean/ tidy. Bathrooms are very small. BUT - it is built over the top of the train line. Perhaps on the very top floors the noise may be acceptable but I started on level 2 and it was being awful, moved to level 5 and it was still noisy but at least the bed didn't shake. Couldn't recommend.
