Viewline Resort Snowmass Autograph Collection

Stayed there for a wedding in July. Beautiful views. Quick room service. Staff was kind and helpful. About 20 minutes from the airport so it was a quick and beautiful ride to and from the airport, which is complimentary. We would stay again but maybe in September/October or March/April The AC tried to keep up but it must be old units in the room because the room did not get below 75 degrees and was as hot as 80 degrees. It was hot. I called for a fan and they did not have an extra. My family and I live in Florida so we can handle heat. Heck, we were in Cozumel one week before our Aspen trip and the AC at the Allegro Cozumel was much cooler (71F for all 5 days we were in Mexico) I do wish the pool was a little bit cleaner because during the day it is pretty hot and sunny but there were a ton of bugs in the pool the two times I went up to the pool deck on the second floor.

We had a fabulous four-night stay at Viewline in late June 2025. Their renovation was completed just a few weeks before, and everything is lovely. The staff is so nice, helpful, and accommodating of any requests, and even made a big fuss about our two dogs---one of which weighs 88 pounds. One staff member went above and beyond for us so I tipped that staff person, which I hardly ever do anymore because such extra service is so rare. Housekeeping is daily and meticulous. The restaurant is also amazingly good and I loved that they had healthy options for breakfast and dinner (we weren't there for any lunches). When we visit Aspen Snowmass again we are definitely staying here, there are pretty trails right outside the free parking lots and easy access to everything in the area.

Immensely irritated by the valet parking scam. The resort charges between $30 and $38/day for valet parking only to park your car in a Village Lot that is free for everyone during the summer, and is only a couple of hundred yards away. I would understand it better if they explained at the outset that you could either park the car yourself for free or pay the resort $30-$38/day for the convenience a having some guy spend 2 minutes to drive your car to and from a public lot. For a 3 night stay, that's an extra $90-$114 for absolutely nothing. Not pleased. Obviously I'm not the first person to notice this scam, as they immediately removed the valet charges from my bill when I raised the issue. I expect better as a Marriott Gold Elite member.
