We love Vigles, the views, the peace, quiet & relaxation & the lovely staff. This is our 2nd stay at this hotel & the above factors make our stay truly wonderful. At times it was so quiet around the pool, it felt like we were in our own villa with staff 😁 Although high on the hill, you need to get taxis or their shuttle bus to the town or beaches, it is worth it as the views are spectacular. The rooms are comfortable & spacious & cleaned everyday. The breakfast has a good choice, pool snacks are limited, however the food served is delicious. Special mention to Marcie & Maria who will always try & accommodate our needs ❤️ We will be looking to book again next year.

!STAY AWAY from This Nightmare of a Hotel! I really don’t like writing negative reviews, but I feel like I need to warn others so they don’t go through what we did. This place is a disaster. I have no idea how it has positive reviews – it’s almost like they’re fake because our experience was a nightmare. We tried to sort it out directly with the hotel, but they’ve been ignoring our emails, so now we’re left with no choice but to post this review. The room we got was nothing like what was advertised. It was dirty, filled with old, mismatched furniture, and the bathroom was leaking and filthy. To make things worse, the entire room smelled like mold. Privacy? Forget it. The windows faced a main walkway where everyone could see in, and the only curtain was so thick and dark that if we closed it, we’d be sitting in total darkness with no view at all. When we asked to change rooms, we were told we already had the “nicest” one. If that’s true, I can’t imagine what the others were like. Our bed had hair all over it. We asked for the sheets to be changed, but when we came back from dinner, nothing had been done. Moreover, they falsely advertise to have a soundproof rooms. The noise was unbearable. We barely slept because of the loud neighbors, and to make matters worse, the staff at the reception was having loud video calls until 1 AM. When we complained, the hotel manager flat-out told us we were lying, even though we had video proof. Unbelievable. The air conditioning? It was so loud that we couldn’t sleep with it on, and when we tried, it smelled awful—like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The hygienic standard of the kitchen, which is visible from the pool area, is asking for someone to get food poisoned. To say it was disgustingly looking is an understatement. I’m still considering reporting the hotel for its poor hygiene standards. As for the pool, it was dirty, and to top it all off, they charge guests 30 euros just to use a sunbed. Ridiculous. Instead of enjoying our first night of holiday, we spent the entire evening searching for new accommodation just so we could move out the next morning. That’s how bad it was. I don’t say this lightly, but I’ve stayed in hostels in Cambodia that were nicer. The value you pay at this hotel compared to what you get is absolutely disproportionate. If you’re thinking about staying here, do yourself a favor and don’t. It’s just not worth it.
