Vigo Hotel

Nice hotel, with a good location. The rooms are well done, in a little bit of a retro style. The service and food are also quite well. Friendly and helpful staff.

Well this place definitely over promises and under delivers, where to start... We had the superior room with massage bath tub in the attic. Room was nice and clean but then we discovered someone left ages old towel in a drawer, switches were not working so the roof windows had to be opened manually, minibar was empty and there was no option to make coffee or tea in the room which is normally possible in lower tier hotels. Then one evening during a thunderstorm we discovered that water is getting into the room at three different places so we spent our time and towels to keep the room dry. The water in the bath was brownish and various insects could be found crawling in the bath every morning. During breakfasts the warm meals were not kept on a heater so even when you came right after the service started it was cold and chewy, milk for cereals was available only upon request, however the overall selection was better than we saw in other hotels. In conclusion the hotel lacks maintenance and your money would probably be better spend elsewhere.

Room is basic and filthy, bathroom is dirty, toilet is broken by all means, hairdryer does not look safe to use… do I need to carry on? Blond chubby receptionist is a phenomena on her own, she is not only lazy but arrogant too… not a place to be.
