Vila Alba Resort

Very large and comfortable. Beautiful and peaceful. Could have stayed 2 weeks easy. Well situated. Everything was close. The beach and cliffs at the end of the property are amazing. Very relaxing stay.

We are getting married here in the summer and visited last year for the menu tasting etc. Had an amazing experience with incredible food. Lovely infinity pool where we drank sangria overlooking the sea. Let’s hope the wedding day is as beautiful as the first visit! Update of wedding experience - we absolutely loved everything about Vila alba on our wedding day. It was the perfect venue, great service and we couldn’t have had a better day. All of our guests loved the views from the ceremony and dinner / evening. Breathtaking views of the sea and cliffs made amazing photos! I stayed in an apartment in the hotel the night before the wedding with my bridesmaids and it was a very spacious apartment which was clean and lovely. The staff were so helpful. The bridal suite the night of the wedding was beautiful too and they left champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. Best day ever!

we stayed at alba resort and were really excited about it after reading the great reviews. i wouldn’t say we were disappointed but there are for sure areas in which can be improved. the room we stayed in (we upgraded ourselves to a garden view suite) was exceptional - really the room was stunning and even better that I had hoped for. it was quiet, big bed and bathroom and lovely balcony! the service was friendly and good. the breakfast was sufficient and had everything you would want from a buffet breakfast. the restaurant however was really disappointing - really expensive for what you get and there is absolutely no ambiance, from what I would expect a 5 star hotel to have. there was no bar for you to relax at in the evening which was a real miss for us! they have this stunning wedding venue that just sat empty which could make for such an amazing retreat after dinner for a drink. the pools were mediocre - the other guests seem to enjoy them but you really don’t need them when you have such stunning beaches on your door step. overall our stay was really pleasant and we enjoyed it but we really missed the 5 star quality that one would expect from such caliber of a hotel!
