Vila Gale Atlantico Resort Hotel

We had a wonderful week at Vila Galé Atlantico on a half board basis. The dinner options were varied, great quality and covered all our tastes, the service was always friendly and the staff were very helpful. The Kids Club Mini Disco was a hit every evening, particularly as Gabi & Patti were so inclusive of all the children, they seemed to work all hours! The room was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. The mini kitchen was very useful for extra snacks especially with a supermarket just a couple of minutes away (on foot). Although early in the season so the outdoor pools were a little chilly, the indoor pool was brilliant. Overall, great facilities, in a quiet location with a beautiful beach just a stones throw away.

Lovely family stay at The Vila Gale Atlântico. Gabby and Patti, the entertainers, were unstoppable. Filled the children’s (and adults) days with fun and laughter… added a personal touch by making sure they knew names and kept the kids smiling long past when they would normally collapse. Also praise to the Hugo the barman who was fun and knowledgeable and Laura on reception who couldn’t be more helpful if she tried. A great team who made the variable weather not matter. Nice location but a little out of the way of anything, although pleasant beach nearby. We had a sea view room which we paid extra for, but it was a side view! Sun was off our balcony afternoon sadly. Rooms were very dark and dated, though clean enough! Very noisy as right over the evening entertainment location ... asked to be moved but were told we would have to pay more. Breakfast was OK though they ran out of English teabags 3 mornings out of 7! Staff were pleasant.
