Vila Roca Hotel and SPA Apuseni

My stay at Vila Roca was nothing short of spectacular. Upon my arrival I sensed that this place was primed to cultivate an effortless and relaxing experience from the friendly service and smooth check-in process. My room was spotless and any supplementary requests were swiftly accommodated. The food in their restaurant was lovely and I thoroughly enjoyed every meal from the plating to the exquisite taste of the food. Being from out of the country I was able to indulge in classic Romanian dishes which were some of the best I had for the duration of my trip. The vast array of amenities Vila Roca offers are impressive, especially given the location. The spa which included a pool, sauna and steam room were maintained to a high standard of cleanliness. Overall my stay was lovely from start to finish and I will definitely be coming back the next time I’m in the country.

I have traveled over America and Europe and this place is exceptional. Staff is professional and courteous. Prices are very reasonable and the cuisine was superb! The ambiance is cozy and inviting. I felt so refreshed with life when leaving and sorry I can’t stay longer. You have to try this place!

Food was average, they use frozen vegetables in full vegetable season, salad was wilted and old...the waiter was very nice but the manager was very unhospitable (we wanted to sit at a nice table where there was more light joining 2 tables together and she opposed, because we were not guests with a room booked. But the restaurant was 90% empty and nobody occupied these tables we wanted while we sat there for 2 hours.) Her attitude was hostile and cold. We won't come back.
