Villa Arkadia Resort

A great place for people who value peace and quiet from noise and people. There is a lot of greenery nearby (RASPBERRIES). Cleanliness and equipment at the highest level. Lots of green space, a garden and a larger garden for children. Each apartment is separated so that neighbors do not have contact with each other (a lot of privacy). In fact, the only thing you can complain about is that the mattresses are a bit too soft for sleeping 🙈

I very much recommend this place to those passionate about civil engineering and construction, as you will be living practically on a construction site. You will be able to “enjoy” all kind of loud sounds usually associated with construction – all kinds of knocking, hammering and drilling – with a hefty dose of swearing in Polish starting around 7am. I particularly feel for people being there in August ’22 as I think the wooden roof structure will be erected – that means a lot of hammering nails, something that will surely make your holiday even more enjoyable. The funny part is that the construction is being run by the same company – they are extending this “resort” (clearly, they never looked up this word in a dictionary when naming this place). So, they are knowingly selling you holiday on a construction site and I am sure they will never mention that – as they didn’t mention it to us until two day before scheduled arrival. This means they are cheats and liars – better to stay away from them and their properties. Oh, and BTW, if you think you will be able to enjoy peace & quiet on the weekends when the construction work is not happening then you are mistaken as the church located next to the property will wake you up around 6am with their very loud bell reminding you to go to the first Mass of the day. So – if you like a relaxed, peaceful holiday avoid this place!

I'm telling you from what I experienced---1 I booked online through a rental company after I called them to confirm if they received it, they spoke to us in German and said yes but it's better to "stornieren" and have them do it directly without that agency taking any more percentages and that way we'll come out cheaper--that's what we did, we paid an advance and in the end we found out that we were paying exactly the same as if we were paying at the apartment...2 I got there I personally cleaned the place with the vacuum cleaner (there were spiders -- bugs in the bed) and I also cleaned it with the mop (in the Paris house -- on the left are the cleaning materials) 3 a playground for 3 children (7 9 11 years old) is only 10m2, and I saw 2 goals for mini-football, I would have liked the children to play football so I took them, after some time the owner comes shaking with nerves: "Das ist meine!! Privat!!" Ok ich habe das verstanden gehört Ihnen aber das ich wusste ich nicht weil hier sind Kinder und möchte auch gerne spielen) nach 15 Minuten diskutieren vor die Tür der Besitzer hat zu mir gesagt wenn ich will spielen fussball oder mit kinder soll ich keine ahnung wo soll ich hin gehen, hä?? Junge das habe ich nicht geklaut und wieso schickst du auf mich jetzt um wo wo kenn ich nicht gut aus?? Ich habe zurück gebracht die Türe, dann komm drausen ein Damen spreche Sie polnischen(das habe ich verstanden "Problem" die beiden reden über mich....leider , war sehr gute idee nach 2 tage raus von da(natürlich habe wir geld verloren 400€ ) aber ich kann da nicht EMPFEHLEN !!
