Villa Cosy hotel & spa

Villa Cosy was the perfect escape, quiet, stylish, and just minutes from the center of Saint-Tropez. The room was spotless and cozy, the spa and pool were amazing, and the staff made me feel truly welcome. I’d definitely stay again.

Just left Villa Cosy, stayed with my husband and two young kids and for four nights. The rooms were great and the property was nice, waking distance to town which was great. The staff at the hotel helped with dinner and beach reservations which all worked out really well. Also very accommodating towards children. Heated pool was lovely. The one issue I have with this place is the value for the price. It seems they squeeze in as many charges as possible before you leave. Everything is a la carte. Usually 5 star hotels offer guests breakfast...here there is no breakfast items included. Also no restaurant, so you have to order breakfast to the room and pay around 30 euro per person per day. Water is also not included. They have water bottles that they clearly reuse and refill - for still and sparkling, and still charge 9 euro per. Also if you are bringing kids, take note that there is an additional **70 euro per kid per day charge** - there is some fine print about this but it is not explicitly written. We booked a suite that fits 4 people, but apparently all prices (even for suites) are only for 2 guests, so we were hit with a surprise 600 euro on the way out the door. When asked what it was for, they told me it was for making the bed for the kids and towels. Also check your line item bill in detail on the way out, i noticed a 200 euro charge for a cigar on mine, which we never ordered. It was promptly refunded and obviously a mistake but still, thats a big one.

We booked a stay at Villa Cosy with the specific intention of securing connecting rooms, as clearly stated in the listing. Traveling with young children, this was a non-negotiable feature for us—and a key reason why we selected this property over others. However, upon arrival, we were surprised and extremely disappointed to discover that the rooms were not truly “connecting” in any functional sense. Instead, they were located on entirely separate floors—one upstairs and one downstairs. This layout completely defeats the purpose of booking connecting accommodations, particularly when the safety and accessibility of small children are involved. The way the property was advertised was, at best, misleading. At no point during the booking process was it made clear that the rooms were on different levels or lacked direct access between them. Had we known this in advance, we absolutely would have chosen a different accommodation better suited to our family’s needs. This experience was not only frustrating but also left us feeling misled by the lack of clarity in the listing. We hope the property takes immediate steps to correct this description so that future guests are not caught off guard in the same way.
