Villa del Palmar Cancun Luxury Beach Resort & Spa

We had a wonderful family vacation at Villa del Palmar Cancún and it exceeded all our expectations! 🏝️ The resort is beautifully located right on the beach, with stunning ocean views. The grounds are immaculate, the pools are fantastic, and there’s plenty to do for both kids and adults. What really stood out was the outstanding service – the staff was always friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The food was excellent as well, with several restaurants offering a wide variety of delicious dishes. For families, it’s the perfect getaway: our kids had so much fun, and at the same time we could relax and truly enjoy our holiday. Highly recommended – we can’t wait to come back! 🌴✨

The resort itself was nice and the food was quite good, but I was disappointed by the lack of entertainment. For an all-inclusive, it felt a bit boring since there weren’t many activities to enjoy. Another thing I didn’t understand is why we had to sign a bill after every meal when everything was already included—it felt like they were pushing for tips. Overall, it was okay, but not as lively or engaging as I expected. Not lot of restaurants. We had late flight but they want us to check out at 12 which we understand as per policy. But no resort stop your all inclusive access until you leave. Not coming back for sure.

I just returned a few days ago, and out of all the all-inclusive resorts I’ve stayed at, this one is completely overrated. The rooms were good, always cleaned, and the little snacks provided were a nice touch. Breakfast was usually fine, but the waitstaff were consistently pushy about gratuities. Several times, waitresses reminded me that tips were not included in the all-inclusive package. It seemed to be the norm for staff throughout the hotel to point this out. The hotel offers little to no activities, and the pool area is very laid back. The only music I heard during my entire seven-day stay was jazz—either by the pool or at the restaurants. Just a very boring atmosphere! Beach was rocky and full of seaweed. Not cleaning whatsoever. My daughter lost a blue Stitch handbag that I had personally bought at Epcot Park in Disney, which made it very unique. However, the staff refused to help us find it. On the last day, my wife had to go to the lobby, where a kind front desk person was able to locate the bag in the hotel basement. Overall, it was an overrated experience, and quiet honestly we will not come back.
