Stayed here for our honeymoon. It was exceptional in every way. The location is stunning and the beauty of the villa is breathtaking. The staff do everything they can to make you happy, they are super friendly and personable, yet very professional. Food was amazing and very happy with the breakfast. They did their best to accommodate to several allergies. Massage was amazing. Lovely town nearby - Cortona. Small things to improve - noise insulation between rooms and shower consistency temperature (though appreciate the building is older). Reduced need to repeat orders would also be an area for improvement. This place was amazing, and a dream come true in our honeymoon. Would recommend strongly to anyone looking for a dreamy luxury trip. Mr and Mrs Perry.

Villa di Piazzano – A Culinary and Countryside Dream Come True Villa di Piazzano was the undeniable highlight of our Tuscany trip — and quite possibly the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. The property itself is stunning: a beautifully preserved historic estate set in the peaceful hills near Cortona, surrounded by gardens, vineyards, and the golden light of the Tuscan countryside. But what truly set this place apart — what made it unforgettable — was the food. We were treated to an extraordinary culinary journey: over 19 exquisite courses, each one more delicious and artfully presented than the last. Every dish felt like a masterpiece — bold in flavor, flawless in technique, and crafted with the kind of passion you’d expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. The chef didn’t just cook — they told a story with each plate. The restaurant staff went above and beyond, especially the manager, who made us feel like honored guests every time we sat down to dine. Every detail — from the ambiance to the plating — was perfect. It was, hands down, the best food we had in all of Europe. Villa di Piazzano is more than just a luxurious stay — it’s a destination for food lovers, a place where elegance, tranquility, and world-class cuisine come together in perfect harmony. We’ll remember this place — and the flavors — for the rest of our lives. For anyone seeking authentic Tuscan charm, gourmet excellence, and a truly special escape: this is it. Five stars. 10/10. We spent one night at Villa di Piazzano in Tuscany and it was a truly wonderful experience. The property is absolutely beautiful and has a charming, peaceful atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly, approachable, and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner at the hotel, and the food was outstanding—high-quality and full of flavor. A lovely touch was the box of chocolates they offered us as a gift, which made our stay feel even more special. However, the only downside was during dinner. I was seated next to a guest who had a dog with them, and as someone with a phobia of dogs, it made the experience uncomfortable. The dog kept moving and jumping near me throughout the meal, and unfortunately, no one addressed the situation or checked if I was okay. It would have been helpful if there were clearer guidelines or some sensitivity shown to ensure all guests feel comfortable in shared spaces. Overall, it’s a fantastic place and I would recommend it—especially to those who love nature, history, and great hospitality.
