Fantastic stay. We stayed in this hotel for 6 nights and we were very happy with our stay. The food and the service in the restaurant is incredible! Best food we had at Capri. The rooms are decorated tastefully and the jacuzzi was a big plus for us. Yes, the hotel is located high up on a hill making it hard to access. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone having problems with mobility. Small details were also missed that would be expected from a 5 star hotel but still a very nice stay.
Absolutely stunning view. The staff is very kind and obliging. The room is very luxurious. Once you get to 11 via Tuoro and find the private property signs, continue all the way up to the top of the pathway. Turn left, and you see white stones that mark their landscaping. It's a tiring climb but the staff greets you with refreshments on the house and an unforgettable stay.
My husband and I stayed at Villa Lia in Capri from July 6 to 9, 2025 as part of our honeymoon — a milestone trip we had been looking forward to for months. Unfortunately, our experience was marked by multiple failures in basic hospitality and guest care: • No functioning air conditioning during a severe heatwave; a fan was only brought to the room on our final night • Electrical outlets in the room were nonfunctional, making it impossible to charge essential devices • The private jacuzzi, one of the primary reasons we chose this property, was broken and unusable throughout our stay • The pool was dirty and closed for hours, with no alternative space for guests to enjoy • The location was misrepresented — access required a steep and exhausting uphill climb, never mentioned in the listing We respectfully raised all of these issues with staff members Marco, Eva, and Tania, who were kind in their demeanor but unable to offer any solutions — no room change, no compensation, no attempt to make things right. We contacted management before sharing this review, hoping for a fair resolution or acknowledgment. Unfortunately, we received no meaningful response. Given the premium price point and the way the property is marketed, we found the experience to be unacceptable and emotionally disappointing — especially for such a personal and significant occasion.
