Villa Ludwig Suite Hotel & Chalet

This was an amazing and perfect place to stay! Walkable, quiet and the view from our room (almost positive it was 205) was EPIC! The staff was amazing! So friendly and helpful. They have an underground car park which was perfect for our stay during the massive storm! Perfect views of the Neuschwanstein castle from the tub, lying in bed and the terrace. The room was large, clean and a very comfortable bed. Silly but we love that the toilet is in its own room and separate from the vanity and shower. There is a mini bar with a few drink options in the mini fridge and some snacks if you forget to pack your own. The breakfast was lovely with lots of options and excellent coffee. We wish we would have stayed longer than one night but it was absolutely perfect. HIGHLY recommend this for a romantic stay. (I would not recommend for children as it was all couples and a nice quiet environment)

The best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, always greeting you with a smile — something you truly appreciate after a five-hour journey. The rooms are stunning, with a magical atmosphere and a breathtaking view of the castle. Honestly, the price feels almost too low for what the hotel offers. You can also book tickets for both castles directly through them, and they’ll hand them to you the next morning — super convenient. They offer the possibility to dine at their restaurant as well. We arrived too late for dinner, but they still prepared a tasting platter for two with sausages, cured meats, cheese, cherry tomatoes, and plenty of their delicious homemade bread. We couldn’t even finish it! Breakfast was absolutely outstanding — calling it “complete” would be an understatement. All in all, highly recommended. If I had to point out a flaw, it would be the flies — they’re everywhere. But hey, we still haven’t figured out how to control insect minds, so…

Great location with stunning scenery. The hotel offers convenient indoor parking and is just a short walk from the main attractions—yet remains quiet and peaceful, perfect for unwinding. Rooms are excellent, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. If you’re traveling with a dog, this place is especially ideal. A picturesque and historical setting, combined with comfort and hospitality—highly recommended.
