Villa Mercedes Petit Hotel Adults Only

The quality of the rooms match the price. For me, the accommodations were amazing. The staff, especially Denise, are the most accommodating and kind! The location of the hotel is as good as it gets in the Romantic District.

Location is perfect, very close to beach, Oxxo (beer/drinks/snacks), blondies, sports bar, taco places, just loved the location. Rooms were very nice of you factor in rates. Mini fridge and AC worked great. Free coffee and continental breakfast at 9am got us going every morning and coffee was surprisingly very drinkable. If I'm going to pick on a few things: the pool is kind of meh, they clean it daily in the morning but lots of leaves fall in it during the day unfortunately. Probably ok to chill around it. TV in room was not displaying cable feed in color but just black and white. Not a big deal for us as we barely turned it on (and didn't even inquire about it) but it might be for some. Mattress were more on the firm end but once more, still slept really well. Overall very happy with our stay at VillaMercedes, would consider staying there again.

We stayed in Penthouse 111-A. The space was large and included kitchen and outside non-private patio space. The old wood furniture smelled like mildew. The air conditioner leaked partially flooding the floor. The toilet wouldn’t flush solids completely then took 5+ mins to refill. The floor hadn’t been swept or mopped, dog hair was everywhere. We don’t have a dog! Dirt covered most surfaces like lights, vases, fridge. This place needs some TLC repairs and a deep scrub. Recommend for proximity to all things Zona Romantica and beach. Staff were very nice. Dislike: room cleanliness. Included breakfast was sliced white bread and bananas.
