Villa Nepos Hotel

We booked an apartment in Villa Nepos and had an amazing time. Very spacious and clean, there was everything to make our stay impeccable and comfortable. The location is also ideal. I highly recommend it ! Plus the receptionists are very welcoming and helpful

It’s hard to add anything that hasn’t already been said—this was the best place we stayed at in Croatia. The apartments are spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, all right in the heart of the Old Town. It truly felt like staying in a historic home with all the modern comforts.

HIGHLIGHTS: Great location and view, excellent value, and an unmatched experience in the heart of Diocletian's Palace (historic center)! We had the pleasure of staying at Villa Nepos for a three-night stay, and for all of us, it was a one-of-a-kind experience from start to finish. The super-clean, two-bedroom suite is located within a historic palace—a marvel of restoration and interior design. The service at this hotel was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable and hassle-free. Everyone was professional, friendly, and always ready to assist with any requests or inquiries, including recommendations for nearby restaurants and activities. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. Tomislav even picked us up and helped carry our luggage—both on arrival and departure day. He provided all the necessary information about the hotel's amenities and made us feel truly valued as guests. We even booked a private tour with a local guide through Tomislav, and it was absolutely outstanding. The suite itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and well-appointed, offering a perfect retreat after a day of exploring the city. The beds were very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathrooms were spotless. The suite also included a washer and dryer, which was a very convenient bonus. The hotel's location was ideal for exploring Split. Situated in the heart of Diocletian's Palace, it offered a fabulous view and was very close to popular attractions and the harbor. We found a parking garage about a 20-minute walk away at a reasonable price. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. The variety and quality of the food were exceptional, with a delightful selection of fresh fruits, pastries, and traditional dishes. The outdoor dining area provided a wonderful view of the central square, making breakfast even more enjoyable. Overall, Villa Nepos truly exceeded our expectations in every way. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Split, and we can’t wait to return. The combination of outstanding, personalized service, comfortable accommodations, delicious breakfast options, and a convenient location made for an unforgettable experience.
