Fantastic 5 nights spent at the Villa Nicolli,a well appointed hotel approximately 15 minute walk from the old town and Lake Garda. The staff are simply amazing, they are non stop in their care for customers enjoyment, well mannered and friendly. The food is superb from the buffet breakfast to the four course evening meal,it could not be better. Bar prices are a little steep if you compare them to local prices but I would say in line with current UK prices. We booked the gourmet evening in the hotel cave and were simply blown away by the atmosphere, the inventiveness of the dishes and quality of well presented food. Our room was very clean with TV and hot drink facilities. Beds were very comfortable and peaceful throughout. A memorable stay which will hopefully be repeated in the future.

The hotel is fantastic. We appreciate the hospitality and friendly atmosphere very much. Whole staff is excellent, nice and always helpful. The facilities are extremally good, swimming pool with a beautiful garden, restaurants, evening bar with a piano music. Food and beverage are really on the top level. Rooms with a comfortable beds and clean well-equipped bathrooms, give you the opportunity to relax and sleep well. The hotel is for adults only and that is an advantage if you want to relax during your stay.

A Tranquil, Luxurious Escape at Villa Nicolli Just a short stroll from the picturesque shores of Lake Garda and the heart of Riva del Garda, Villa Nicolli offers an exceptional adult-only retreat blending calm sophistication with attentive hospitality. We arrived in the middle of a heavy, unseasonal thunderstorm, but the reception team greeted us warmly—umbrellas in hand—making a wonderful first impression. We had initially booked a Junior Suite via TUI, but it didn’t quite suit our needs. After an open and helpful discussion with the hotel, we were able to upgrade to a more suitable suite. While there was an additional cost involved, the staff handled the changeover seamlessly and made sure we were comfortable—making it a worthwhile decision. From that point on, everything about the hotel exceeded expectations. The atmosphere is serene and luxurious, with a small but dedicated team who seem to anticipate your needs at every turn. Dining is a highlight. Led by the excellent Maitre Ignazio, the restaurant staff deliver flawless service and nightly changing menus that take you on a genuine culinary journey—four delicious courses with a variety of options. The bar is also well-stocked, especially for whisky lovers like myself—Renato and Christian made sure we were always well looked after. Breakfast is served in a bright, casual dining room with a generous continental buffet and hot options on request. Dinner takes place in a more refined setting, with two special tasting rooms available for a supplemental experience. Live piano music at the bar added a lovely touch on selected evenings. The facilities are superb: immaculate indoor and outdoor pools, a serene spa area with sauna and steam room, beautiful gardens, and plenty of sun loungers and towels. There’s also secure parking for those arriving by car. If you're up for exploring, Avis is just a 12-minute walk away, or the hotel offers premium Cube electric bikes for hire. Rooms are stylish, quiet, and exceptionally well maintained. Our suite featured thoughtful touches like a Prosecco bar, tea and coffee facilities, a mini bar, and high-quality finishes such as fabric-covered walls and braided rope edging. No scuffs or peeling paint here—just understated elegance. The WiFi was lightning fast, and although the TV had mostly European channels, Netflix was available. In short, if you're seeking a refined, adult-only escape close to town but far from the crowds—with impeccable service, outstanding food, and a peaceful ambiance—Villa Nicolli may be exactly what you’re looking for. We would absolutely return
