Villa Pampilhosa Hotel

An amazing refuge from the city rush, in the middle of nature. The staff is really friendly and the ammenities are invitting (pool, spa, game room, restaurant, etc). Walking distance to the village center. There are nearby walking and biking trails if you like to combine nature and sports. If you are thinking about visiting you should check the website - very often there are nice promotions that help getting this 4 star hotel for much less than what one usually pays for similarly rated hotels.

Very good Hotel, Staff is great

Very nice hotel. Unfortunately overall staff let it down. Disappointed with poor Bar service or should I say non existante. There were 3 waiters. 2 people in restaurant. While I was eating my starter my partner by then finish. The waiter ask if she could take the plates. I say no as I was still eating. Which she should clearly see it. Poor training... Receptionist was on the phone for ages at the time. Explaining everything the hotel have... On the beers menu say white beer. So I ask which beers they had when I saw someone. She ask if I could wait but by then I been awaiting about 15minutes. So I said I already been waiting for a while. Another 10 minutes pass so we gave up. The waiters need to speed up their service. If they can't cope with fairly empty hotel how will they cope if a bit busier.
