Villa Preselle Country Resort

This place is breathtaking and a true taste of luxury Tuscany! Everywhere is immaculately clean and tidy. The rooms are large and comfortable and showers and shower products are great. I loved the communal area outside the hotel rooms, beautiful views and an area to make a decent quality coffee! The pool was one of the best I’d ever seen, the view is unbeatable and a real sun trap surrounded by typical Tuscan olive groves. We would have loved it even more if it was a heated pool during the spring months. The breakfast had good selection and the scrambled eggs were amazing! All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We only ate at the restaurant once and found it to be quite pricey and would have liked to see more classic Italian dishes (more pasta options) but the food we had was good. We ate at other local restaurants for the other nights, there are plenty around within 20 minute drives! They provided fresh water in the fridge everyday so you could take it out with you. There was no safe in the room which could be a nice addition. The only niggles we found was that the rooms got very hot with no A/C and when we opened the doors at night all we could hear was constant loud barking of the farm dogs. The mattress and pillows are very hard leaving us with bad necks in the morning but these are all really picky things.

I booked Villa Preselle with my partner for a more quiet, scenic getaway. We made the mistake of booking without a car so struggled getting around. The staff at Villa Preselle were amazing with helping us out with anything we needed. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The views and scenery is spectacular. Overall 10/10 and would highly recommend.
