Villa Spa Holiday Resort

Wow! My wife and I are impressed by this resort. A real gem. Our log cabin is spacious and comfortable. Everything is super clean and it is equipped with everything needed to ensure a comfortable stay. The facilities are beautiful and the gardens are well kept and maintained. We are not campers but definitely some of the best camp sites we've seen. Friendly staff. We highly recommend Villa Spa if you are looking for excellent family accommodation. We are already planning our next visit.

Villa Spa is such a lovely park! It is extremely well kept with the friendly staff constantly cleaning, sweeping and working on the grounds and facilities. Sites are a very fair size, they're neat and everything was in working order, nicely sheltered from the weather. We peeked into aome of the empty chalets which look really nice! There is a small tuckshop and restaurant but we didnt eat there. The kids had a blast roaming free enjoying the trampolines, jungle gym, volleyball, foosball, pool tables, pingpong, swimming pool, riding bicycles and we all felt very safe throughout our stay. The beach is accessible over the railway and is patrolled by security until around 5pm. There were no lifeguards on duty in the low season. A variety of shops including a PnP and butchery are only a very short drive away as well as a tearoom a 2 min walk from the park. Affordable rates and easy-going, accomadating owners. We stayed for 10 days last December. Gail and her staff were very nice and helpful.. Regardless of that and the beauty of the resort.. My family and I will never set foot at this resort again. We had continous problems with hot water at our villa until it disappeared on our last Sunday. The owner himself came to help us fix it, which lasted only 20 minutes before disappearing again. When I asked very respectfully for an explanation and did not understand his plumbing explanation, he shouted at me so aggressively I felt his spit land in my face. I have never been treated so poorly as a paying guest at any resort before in my life. I am still in shock. I don't believe he has had a day of training in dealing respectfully with guests in his life. He behaved like an abusive misogynist and I will never support their establishment again.
