Villaggio Michelangelo

As part of our summer vacation, we rented one of the "houses" in Villaggio Michelangelo. The staff at the tourist office were friendly, and the facilities were generally okay. A couple of shelves in the refrigerator were cracked, and the cleaning mop didn’t work, but it wasn’t anything that ruined the vacation. However, there were a couple of more general annoyances about the place. 1) There are no parasols or sun loungers by the pool, and you are not allowed to take them from the house. This means you either have to bring them from home or go out and buy some. It's a bit disappointing since the pool is so nice. 2) It might be due to a cultural difference, but it seems silly that the pool takes a siesta during the hottest hours, especially when it’s not staffed. I assume that you, as the reader, are familiar with Bibione and the number of tourists, but if this is entirely new information for you, I recommend you look into it. Personally, I will never go to Bibione again, but this is not because of Villaggio Michelangelo.

The location is good, there is a swimming pool in the area and everything looks very nice and clean. However, our apartment was missing some cutlery, so it was almost impossible for the four of us to eat at the same time. There weren't enough plates, cups, everything, really. When we asked for more cutlery and dishes, the people in the agency told us to BUY IT IN THE SUPERMARKET. :-D What kind of service is that? :-D

Apartament was very very dirty. For example - in fridge was multiple hair and it was just black on top because of dust. Whole apartament was stinking. Funniest thing it that when you don't want to clean on your own you have to pay them 100€ (pro tip - they aren't checking if you cleaned apartament when you are leaving place so you don't have to do that). The offer included a microwave, grill, kettle - there wasn't any microwave, grill or kettle. For similar price you can go to some hotel next to the beach. Just don't go there.
