The hotel, located in the heart of Tuscany, is definitely the perfect place for those looking for a wonderful experience. The food, the ambiance and the view all come together to offer us this atmosphere. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Each one of them took care of us individually. It is also pet friendly and has a wonderful Tuscan view where everyone can come with their pets.We would like to thank the hotel staff and owner with all our hearts for providing us with this wonderful experience. Hope to see you again soon!
Superb! We enjoyed a lot! Exceptional service - super friendly staff. Fabulous breakfast. The dinner was also great.. The massage was superb! The hotel is not cheap, but certainly worth it. The SPA is very relaxing. Hope to come back soon! :)
The hotel is set in the beautiful countryside of Tuscany. All the staff at the hotel were lovely, friendly, and attentive. Breakfasts were plentiful, with a lot of choice and everything was tasty. Unfortunately, all the food items from the dinner menu (I tried three different dishes) were a little bland and lackluster. At 26 euros for the nicest dish, I found it quite expensive for the quality. I also really wish I had been listened to, when I asked for a small side salad (I specified "small" several times), but instead, I was brought a massive, full-sized dish priced at 12 euros. However, the pizza from the lunch menu was divine — absolutely delicious! SPA Review: The spa is very large, offering a wide variety of sauna options to choose from — steam rooms, saunas, aromatic rooms, etc. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. The only downside I can think of is that the aroma room didn’t have a strong scent; perhaps the herbs should be replenished a few times a day. Treatments I had: Manicure: This was the best manicure I have ever had. The technician was thorough and listened to my requests attentively. I was extremely impressed with her work. Anti-Stress Cloud Treatment: If you have a bit of claustrophobia, this treatment might not be for you. The best way I could describe it is like being cocooned in a weighted blanket up to your upper chest and then gently lowered into water (you do not get wet — the water simply enhances the feeling of cocooning). Once you are settled, various underwater streams massage you while you feel as though you are floating mid-air. A very interesting and relaxing experience (for me at least). Chianti Hammam: You are asked to lie flat on a hot stone while warm water is splashed over you. A mask is then applied to your face and neck, followed by a full-body exfoliating scrub. Afterward, your body is covered with the most deliciously scented oil, which is gently massaged in. Note: If you are used to traditional Hammam washes from Turkey, London, or Egypt, this is different. There is no soap scrub or hair washing involved. The only minor downside is that you have to wash the oil off yourself in a shower afterward. Overall, it was a lovely experience, just not a traditional Hammam. 50-Minute Massage: I also had a 50-minute massage, which was just okay. I would have preferred to be asked which areas needed specific attention and whether the pressure was comfortable, but I was not.
