Review for Villiers Hotel - Laura Ashley Tea Room I recently had the pleasure of hosting a surprise dinner party at the Laura Ashley Tea Room in Villiers Hotel, Buckingham, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambience of the tea room was charming and elegant, providing the perfect setting for our celebration. The food was nothing short of excellent. Each dish was beautifully presented and delicious, showcasing the culinary expertise of the kitchen staff. Perfect location for the Grand Prix in Silverstone. Gorgeous cozy hotel. Breakfast is really nice, and have a lovely bar too. The girls at reception are super helpful and service as a whole was delightful. Will definitely come back next year.

Villiers Hotel is well situated in the centre of Buckingham. It has a car park accessed by the side of the hotel. Large, wide cars will find the parking bays very tight. Accommodation is expensive for the area but the rooms are bigger than normal. We had no problem booking or asking for a room in a quieter part of the hotel. Booking in at reception was easy and the staff was friendly. You need to register your car on the system at reception. Our suite 225 was a good size with a comfy king-size bed. There is no air con, and even with a fan, we found it very hot and stuffy. There is no shower, only a bath , so washing your hair is problematic. We noticed little things which didn't affect our stay but were disappointing, such as the bath gel had very little soap in it, there were cobwebs on the inside of windows and only 1 biscuit with the coffee cups. The breakfast is standard. There is a lovely tea room called Laura Ashley Tea Room, which looks very inviting for afternoon tea.
