Went with my tent, the place is great, quite good space for the tent and car. The beach is amazing, clean and has direct access from the camp with showers nearby. Services are good with bikes to rent, an many more stuff. Supermarket's panini are delicious! The toitels though were not as clean as last time Istayed here. Even early in the morning the toilets were not super cleaning. Cleaners should dry the toilets and sink after washing them as the water on top gets immediately dirty as people starts to get in. If they manage to improve the cleaning service the place is gonna be perfect.

We stayed at Riva Di Ugento with our rooftop tent for 4 nights. The camping site is amazing and probably the most scenic camping ground I've ever stayed at. The beach is great, the staff friendly and the activities that are offered are very extensive. There are a lot of trees and it feels a bit like camping in the wild but with the comfort of having a camping ground structure. The old service facilities like shower and bathrooms are fine, the new ones are above average - very modern and clean. So, rating Riva Di Ugento in an isolated way it would be a clear 5/5. However, the camping site is surrounded by multiple beach clubs. Starting from 9pm to often 2 or 3am in the night there is loud music from all directions (Thursday until midnight, Friday, Saturday and Sunday until 2-3am, Monday we left). DJs that are firing up the crowd, bass that ignores ear plugs... Every night the camp site turns into a music festival area. It's really crazy and I feel sorry because it's not even Riva Di Ugentos fault, but it still cost us our sleep every night. On Sunday they even had a firework at !! 2am !! Although we enjoyed the time during the days a lot, we left one night early to get some sleep..

So basically the whole site is pretty enjoyable and I've been here on 2 separate occasions. The first time I went there with a tent and the second in a roulotte which was rentable by the place. To someone who isn't that often to Italy this place might feel majestic whatsoever, I get that. But as an Italian myself the site feels pretty basic, but I do admit that the beach and the clear water are very pretty l, however there is pretty much nothing else to do here. If you want to go to the pool you will have to pay, the "arcade" is very small and there is pure nothingness outside of the place. The roulotte itself was pretty comfortable, however there seem to be some strange things that resemble the age of the Roulotte. Like: for some reason, If you were to defecate in the toilet, like a normal human being, the toilet will not have the power to flush it down, which is really bizarre, just like the fact you can't lock the door to the Roulotte OR the toilet. The only other thing that really bothered me were the amount of qmerchants roaming around the beach. You also have to be prepared for NO warm water whatsoever if you were to shower in the evening and the water pressure of the bidets in the public toilets is similar to the one used for cutting stones. This was more than probably my last time coming here. And I would have given this place like 2.5 stars if possible. Edit: I forgot to mention how comically long the emergency number is, how bad the connection is, and we also had several blackouts today which is really awesome if you have like 100€ worth of stuff in the fridge. Yeah definitely my last time here lmao
