I stayed here for 2 weeks while I was in Madrid and it was wonderful. The breakfast bar was awesome every day, there are so many different food options. My room was always cleaned well and everything re stocked. I loved the location because it’s so convenient to get anywhere from here. I will absolutely stay here again the next time I’m in Madrid.

Overall, a good experience. Rooms are a bit small, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great, and most of the restaurant staff were amazing — friendly and helpful. However, one manager (wears black pants and a gray jacket, seems to be the restaurant administrator) had a very negative attitude. Every time we asked for help, she acted annoyed. At 10:50 AM, my son politely asked for some watermelon, and she said they wouldn’t prepare anything because breakfast ends in 10 minutes — even though it was still being served. In a 4-star hotel, that kind of attitude really stands out. I hope management takes a closer look. Otherwise, the rest of the staff were excellent.

So many elements of this hotel are quite good. Good location. Really nice staff. But the decor in the room was absolutely tragic. Just put a little rug down and two small chairs. What designer came up with this minimalism. But the thing that I cannot abide is that they don’t have irons in the room and I asked 3 times and didn’t get an iron. I know this sounds trivial but when you have to go to a work meeting and everything is crushed from your luggage you need an iron. Just put an iron in every room. I am on a mission to make sure that business type hotels in Europe have irons. It’s unacceptable. It’s basically costless. Just put an iron in the room. Argh.
