We have been coming to the area around Brixen since I was a little child, staying in a variety of places, from farms to upper class hotels. This is by far our favourite. A family run place in a great location, (e-)bike rental, facilities for spa activities, a great garden with a view and all the amenities for a perfect summer vacation in the mountains. The family has a knack for a personal touch without invading one's privacy, the kitchen is providing a superb 4+1 course dinner every night, catering to special wishes without the slightest hesitation. The wine selection features personally selected local wines with recommendations for every course provided. The rooms could do with an overhaul within the next few years, but in this environment, all you do is sleep there anyways. We will happily come back again and again, there isn't anything we could ask for here.

Spent here 4 nights. Staff is the nicest and very approachable. The hotel itself is big, clean, and beautiful. The view from the hotel is breathtaking. The wellness and spa area is well structured and clean; it's a pity that people can be disrespectful and shout in the relax areas. The wellness treatments are quite expensive and have a lot of space for improvement, would not recommend them (massage was quite superficial and quick, face treatment as well). The breakfast is very delicious - plenty of sweet and savory options. Dinner is good, sometimes ok depening on the night and the meal. The hotel organises different activities every day: sometimes for free, sometimes with an extra charge. The wine tasting session (only 9€) was amazing! Highly recommended it, wines were excellent and the sommelier was very interesting to listen to. We bought some of the wines we tasted. Watch out if you want to take part in the organised hiking trips: the guides are in a rush, no breaks, can be very arrogant with slower/injured people. It was not a nice experience to witness. They didn't leave time for some (!) people to have a lunch break, after a +3 hours of snowshoe hike, because they wanted to go back already. Josef, one of the guides, made rude comments and made fun in German about one of the participants of the hike, which was slower due to physical impair - highly unprofessional. Location is great, car is not needed given all the activities organised but would recommend it if you want explore the area on your own (and not in a rush & in big groups). Overall, we had a great time and would love to come back!

upon our arrival, we were very discouraged because of the hotel's appearance from the outside and because you have to get off the mountain and drive up another one to get to the actual ski resort ("Plose"). but besides the inconvenient location, our stay was absolutely wonderful. very friendly and welcoming staff, our dogs were permitted outside dining areas for a charge of €11 per dog and day, everything was clean and the small pools perfect for a swim after a day of skiing. all of the menus included meat, but we received amazing vegetarian dishes upon request. the breakfast buffet even had homemade jam and there are saunas free of charge (but only age fourteen and up) and massages starting from €35.
