VIP Executive Saldanha Hotel

Summary: Convenient location for exploring Lisbon, with good clean facilities and easy access to local transport and activities. Pros: - Very good value for money. Booked as part of a package deal but would stay again if booked independently. - Very large, spacious rooms. Clean with good facilities (coffee maker, fridge, large bathroom with shower - good pressure and water temperature). Beds big and comfortable. - Very easy to get around. 1 min walk from metro and 2 mins from local grocery store. Plenty of bats, cafes and restaurants nearby. - Staff very friendly and helpful. Cons: - In a busy area of the city, near hospitals. Can be noisy with police cars and ambulances at times.

The location is amazing, there are many good restaurants and the Metro is really close. My room was quite spacious and the cleaning staff was very professional. The breakfast is good but not on the level a 4 star hotel should offer. There‘s also no rotation and it is not possible to order anything. Also, there‘s no gym which is actually a requirement for a 4 star hotel

Nothing too bad, but nothing too good, either. The rooms were comfortable, but the windows did not close properly, so there was always a little extra street noise to deal with. The breakfast was poor, to be honest. Cheap items and the fruit were recycled day after day (didn't touch any). Having stayed at other hotels in the general area, I would suggest looking around, although it was relatively cheap, you get what you pay for.
