We really enjoyed our stay at Vision Apartments. The location is excellent — close to everything but still quiet enough to relax. The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Go for the room with the city view 🌆
The rooms/hotel in general was just absolutely wonderful. The decor was beautiful and it was incredibly clean and tidy. The rooms were beautifully decorated and had everything that you’d need and more - including a kettle and microwave. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was so clean and spacious. They even gave you robes and slippers to use in the spa/pool section of the hotel. As we just went for a short weekend, and were going to the thermal spa in Bucharest, we didn’t take advantage of the hotels spa/pool section, so didn’t actually pop to see it, but I can imagine it was as nice as the rest of the hotel. The hotel is in such a central location too - with everything in walking distance. We didn’t have breakfast there but we did pop to have a look. There didn’t seem to be as much selection as we’d hoped for, so just went to a cafe down the road, but again it was nice and clean and the staff were super friendly. For the price as well (it was so incredibly reasonable) it was an absolute steal! I’d absolutely recommend this place and would 100% stay again if we ever return to Bucharest.
An absolute disgrace. Disgusting and miserable. Avoid this “hotel” at all costs. VISIONAPARTMENTS Bucharest was, without a doubt, the worst experience I’ve ever had in any accommodation. And I’ve stayed in many hotels over the years, but this one managed to beat all records for filth and disrespect toward guests. Let’s start with the room: absolutely disgusting. Walls full of stains, visible dirt everywhere, as if they hadn’t been cleaned or painted in years (see attached photo). There’s no space to walk between the bed and the wall – it’s absurdly cramped. And there’s only one power socket on one side of the bed. If you’re staying as a couple, one of you is out of luck. The mattress felt like a wooden board, and the pillow was so flat it might as well not have existed. Sleeping was almost impossible. I thought the worst was over… until breakfast (which we paid extra for!). That’s when I realized rock bottom actually has a basement. We wanted a cappuccino – there were no cups. When they finally brought some, the coffee machine didn’t work. We politely asked if they could make one using the machine behind the counter. The answer? “We can’t.” Unbelievable lack of professionalism and care. As for the food: stale bread, sad little croissants, badly cooked eggs, a bit of butter, cheese, ham sliced in a hurry, raw paprika strips (yes, paprika), a couple of lonely yogurts… and that’s it. This is what they offer at a so-called 4-star hotel. It felt more like a cheap, badly managed hostel. Never again. A place that is filthy, poorly maintained, terribly run, and downright disrespectful to anyone who spends money to stay there. A sincere warning: do not make the same mistake I did. Run.
