Vitalmed Hotel Sárvár

Best discovery ever in this lovely town.We felt really good to be there as guests.Rooms clean and reception was very welcoming ,speaking german or english is enough,the breakfast super lovely(Attila was super host,playing with our baby boy, kids playroom right beside ,what can one expect.Dinner was organised by the Premium Inn hotel,which was full of good food but our feeling was in the first night that cheffs were inloved as there was too much salt for our taste and the second night was too cold the food.We arrived there at 18:30 so we cannot say it was too late .Parking must be paid too, the spa walls must be a bit reniewed as the walls fell down unfortunately .But overall a good experience we will be back .As a tip we recommend behind the hotel Melea the sidewalk beside the lake there is gourgeous and the playground for kids is awesome .Great city with a good wibe .Turners bar in the city is great for coffee and vibe.Thank you .

I am giving 4* for the hotel itself. Spacious rooms, a little bit outdated but comfortable with everything you need. Main reason to book is the very convenient location next to the Spa (all in one building so you can walk to your room in a towel). Pleasant stay - extremely nice housekeepers, BUT one of the receptionists is extremely slow and does not speak English at all. It took us more than 15 minutes to do a simple check-out. Other guests had to patiently wait as well, but most of them were a bit annoyed by waiting.

Nice wellness hotel with a direct connection to the thermals springs of Sárvár (quite nice: also on the day of departure, entry is included for the whole day). The rooms are spatious, the bathroom clean and the bed comfy. Breakfast buffet is small but nice, and it's all there you need. If you book half board with buffet dinner, it is in the adjacent Park Inn hotel. Food is good, but choice is too limited (often the same dessert or salad, quite the "standard Hungarian food" that lack creativity - in 4 star hotel one would expect more). Also the service in the restaurant of the Park Inn could be greatly improved (too much waiting, ordering a second drink is a nearly impossible task). Free WIFI is available, but slow. Cleaning staff is not very motivated: They ask if you need cleaning that day (clearly hoping that guests say no) and they forget simple things such as refilling shower gel. All in all it is a very nice hotel that I can recommend without hesitation for a nice wellness weekend. However, there is room for improvement.
