This hotel is pretty awesome. I was lucky enough to get a tour of the hotel in October 2015. I loved the 'vibe' of the place. The downstairs rooms are funky, clean, fresh and really unique. The shared bathrooms are great and these rooms and bathrooms have really nice homely feel to them. If you get a chance to stay here, you should. I loved the fact that the accommodation ranges in price and can suit a range of needs and budgets. The suites upstairs were awesome. They each have amazing views and really well laid out apartment style accommodation. The area the hotel is in is so great. The Rose hotel is is the ultimate LA experience.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for our trip out to LA and we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. We stayed in the Abbot Kinney Suite, and it was a great experience. The suite had an open separate bedroom with desk and dresser with night tables on each side and a living room with a fire place. There was a cute kitchen with a deep sink and a claw foot tub and nicely tiled bathroom. The suite had windows everywhere and had massive amounts of sunlight. When you stepped out there was a balcony that overlooked Rose Ave and Venice Beach. (BEAUTIFUL) We sat our there often drinking and enjoying the view and atmosphere of Venice. The staff and owner were super nice and accommodating. The street was semi busy during the day and quite at night. There is a lot of restaurants around and the boardwalk is only steps away. The street parking was great. We always found a spot in front of the hotel. We came there to visit all of LA but just ended up stay in the area and keeping The Rose as our home base. Totally recommend staying here if you want to be away from all the crazy of the city and live like a local.

Everything was awesome! I stayed in a queen room with a shared bathroom and really loved the experience. My boyfriend was visiting from Oregon for a few days and I wanted a nice, relaxing and cute place to stay and I found the rose that exceeded my expectation above and beyond! We were so happy there and loved our experience! We didn't mind the shared bathrooms at all as they were always clean and well kept. This will definitely be our go to getaway to stay at when we are visiting la area. And the cherry on top was the French press coffee and amazing croissants in the morning. The hotel room was very simple but with so much character and comfort. There wasn't a tv in our room which was perfect bc we just wanted a place free from technology and to focus on each other! And the front desk- Emily, was a doll and we were very grateful for her kind personality and suggestions on places to eat. This place is a must to stay at if you want something relaxing, simple but with so much warmth. Thank you for the wonderful experience Rose Hotel. We will be seeing you again :)
