Absolutely a gem of a resort. I best describe it as nothing was excellent, but, everything was Very Good. Staff was exception to that rule. They were amazing. One of the Animation members FER was definitely a plus for this resort she was amazing. The new Animation Director and crew did a fabulous job as well with lively shoes and daily events. Room was very clean, and food was great. A few tips throughout made the service and experience a great experience. Whale watching was also a highlight for us with about 9 sets of whales.

Good hotel overall…food selection was limited, but quality was great compared to other resorts. We liked that the hotel was small and that made it convenient as other resorts in the DR seemed to be a little too big and you end up wasting a lot of time walking or waiting on the golf carts. The room was mediocre and AC didn’t allow for us to tune the temp. There was also limited activities and animation. The three a la carte restraints were really good. I would recommend this resort and has actually been one of the better ones we have been to in the DR.

Excellent all-inclusive resort on the north side of the island of Dominica. The food has been outstanding - lots of local dishes along with standards like pizza, pasta, etc. They have a “healthy corner” with proteins and vegetables cooked without heavy sauces, etc. Drinks have been plentiful with generous pours. There are also 3 sit-down restaurants for dinner with elevated plates. My only two quibbles are the rooms could use some mild maintenance (small things broken, etc) and, more importantly, there seems to be no schedule of events. Games, activities, and themed lunches seem to be happening at regular intervals but you need to “discover” them, rather than plan for them. Beach was great, excursions were well-done. 2 hour ride from SDQ is a drag but the destination is worth it. Highly recommended.
