It is more like a quaint, off the beaten path, boutique hotel. Location can be the best part or the worst part, depending on what you’re looking for. If quiet serenity with tailor made misty mountain views are your thing, then this is the jackpot. If you’re looking for the MG Marg Gangtok vibes, then steer clear. The service by the staff is outstanding, the food is delicious, amenities are good, and breakfast buffet is average. The place is child friendly, with plenty of space for them running amok with the indulgent and attentive staff. The outdoor pool is picture postcard straight out of Hawaii or Bali. And this was exactly what I was looking for, and got.
Perfect getaway to feel forest tucked away from City only if you want to stay put in the property and enjoy forest bathing. My stay was beautiful thanks to Anisur who served us ensuring each and every request of ours and we had a lovely breakfast .
The road leading to the property is pathetic. If you are looking for Gangtok vibes, this is not the place. The property is remotely located in a dense forest. Can be a choice if you want a laid back holiday and just relax in a pool, but not for those on a tour to explore Sikkim.
